The Solar for good program will gift $1,000 to eligible lower income households in need of a solar pv system to help lower their energy bills. ​
 
The donations will make it possible for the system to be installed with no upfront cost to the occupant. The remaining installation costs will be funded by the $1,400 solar pv rebate and $1,400 interest free loan provided by the Victorian government.

Doners may wish to specify which regional community they would like to their contributions to support.​
